Privacy Policy

near.mom is built to collect as little about you as possible. Most tools need no sign-in and run entirely in your browser.

What we don't collect

Most of near.mom needs no sign-up, and we do not knowingly collect names, emails, or other personal information. We never ask for and never receive your wallet's private keys or seed phrase.

Your wallet

Connecting a wallet happens in your browser through the wallet you choose. Your public account id is used locally to show balances and to let you sign transactions, which you approve in your own wallet. Signing and sending happen between your wallet and the NEAR network — not through us.

Signing in (NEAR Bank and other heavy tools)

Some features ask you to sign in with your NEAR account: you sign one message in your wallet (no transaction, no gas) and your browser keeps a device key for later requests. When you do, we store your account id, your device's public key, daily usage counters, and any premium payment you send (it is a public on-chain transfer).

On NEAR Bank we also keep an internal log of which wallets are opened, by which account (or by an anonymous browser id if you are not signed in), once per day, and how you first arrived (the page you landed on, a referral link, the referring site). We use this only to run limits and to understand what people find useful. It is never shown publicly or to other users, and it is not sold.

Data stored on your device

Some tools save data in your browser (for example, IDE workspaces, deployment records, or keys you generate) using localStorage and IndexedDB. This stays on your device. Clearing your browser storage removes it. Treat any keys you generate or save as sensitive.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand overall traffic — for example, how many people visit a page. This can set cookies and process your IP address. We never send wallet names to Google Analytics — signed-in visits use a one-way hash. Visitors in Europe are asked first. You can block analytics with your browser or an extension without losing functionality.

Third-party services

The tools query public infrastructure — NEAR RPC endpoints, block explorers (e.g. NearBlocks), and icon/favicon services — to show on-chain data. As with any website, those services receive standard request information such as your IP address. External links take you to third-party sites that have their own privacy practices.

No sale of data, no ads

We do not sell your data and we do not run ad-tracking networks.

Children

near.mom is not directed to children under 18 and is intended for adults.

Changes

We may update this policy as the project evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date below.
